Lets spread the league love with a monthly team party!
When we ring in 2008, the league will also be ringing in a series of monthly team soirees, off the ice. Imagine that!  Any team member who has a club, basement, garage or shoebox is encouraged to submit their venue name for the all new event rotation schedule.
The goal is to give all team members an opportunity to host an event at their place. What's the catch? If you submit your place as a possible location, get on the schedule with a confirmed date, you're on the hook, its your event  (with support provided from the League Events team, as requested).
How do I submit my place?
Respond to this post. Include the following information
-Venue Name
-Venue Location
-Scheduling preferences (do you prefer weekday or weekends, what times would work for you?)
-Help Needed: Example: If you are inspired to add a contest to your event, even if the prizes are nothing more than the esteem and respect of your peers, we can lend out event boards (voting boards) if you need them.
Submissions for 2008 should be made starting now - to the end of Dec, so that an event schedule can be vetted the 1st week of January. Final schedule targeted to be announced the 2nd week of Jan 08.
Several league members have been keen to see something like this, and its a great idea that we hope will take off

I'm sure the gang at Club Wild (wanna go there?? search for it) wouldn't mind an SLH takeover one night.
I'd also offer my club, Mulder's, but it's a shoebox... 10 people and it looks jammed.
