There's all kinds of devices and ways to locating and teleporting to people inside SL, even without "mapping" rights on the friends list. But I want to quickly bring up, please keep in mind that sometimes people are doing other things, or private things like meetings or time with their SL family or other friends. So when someone just appears in your house or maps you out somehow, it's sort of like someone just barging in your RL house without knocking. I have some areas on the island I go for some down time and it's very awkward to me when people just appear there, some situations more so than others. So I will ask people to please not map people on TS or JH or teleport into areas that are obviously meant to be apart from the rest. The hotel, maze, and rink are always public areas. Anything else, please assume is private. If you need to see me and don't see me around the rink, just IM me, 9 times out of 10 they will give you a teleport anyway but at least they have the option  Thanks a lot. |

I agree Jack. That has happened to me before in my own home my old landlady who wears a hud that tell who is on the island,just walked in twice without saying she was coming over or knocking or anything and when i told her how it made me feel she didn't understand, it was just creepy. It's a good idea to let people know so they don't take advantage even if you're friends. Hopefully they understand. |

Yeah like lets keep privacy in mind, as it would be a sad thing to have alarm orbs and security systems everywhere. I had to set them up as i constantly had peekers over while building and doing other private stuff on my own land its just that people sometimes don't concider that we all have sometimes other things to do.
Good thing thats it is brought out to everyone's attention. |

| Also, please be considerate about rezzing things around the islands. TreeSong is my business and personal residence, not a public sandbox. Chatrez is a private residential sim. Shawna has had to return things like zambonis from people's homes, and she does so with good humor, but let's not push the issue. Thanks. |
