Hey guys! I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm out of the hospital and doing well. It was a bit of a scary time, but my doctor tells me that I'll be fine; there was no permanent damage done to my heart. I'm a little tired and sore after 2 days of being poked and prodded, but I'm very thankful to still be around!
Mainly though I want to thank you all for your prayers, kind thoughts, cards and words of encouragement. In my almost 3 years of being on SL I've been involved in many groups, but without a doubt the SLHA family is the most caring and friendly. We really are a family. Yes we have our small disagreements, but when it's all said and done we come together and pull for each other and help each other. You have no idea how much all your kindness has meant to me. I'm really blessed to count you all as friends.
Thank you again for your friendship and concern. Looking forward to seeing you all on the ice again soon! |

Glad you're feeling better and STILL AROUND, Deej. I would think that LauraAnne has grown a tad bit fond of you and is pleased you're still around, too. Big hugs to the both of you. I can't even imagine... |

Deej pretty much called it, SLHA is very much a family. SL or RL, we all tend to look out for our own.
Deej, very pleased to see you back up and skating. What other family would put you back in goal on your first day out
