Week #2 of GOHA Season 8 was highlighted by another Wolves victory - this time over the slippery Cobras.
With Asst. Captain Dex Braveheart at the helm, the Wolves played a tight, coordinated defense, holding the Cobras snipers to only 3 goals on 33 shots. Flash Emor was a rock in net - Sacha, Baron, and Boston covered his back whenever he roamed.
The Wolves offense was led by Bedtime Bobbysocks with 3 goals and a key assist on the game winning tally by Sarafina Raymaker. The boisterous TreeSong was crowd expecting an overtime, when Bobby and Sara slammed the basket lid on the Cobras, scoring with 55 seconds remaining on the game clock.
Another great game Wolves! The hard work is sure paying off....

The Wolves prevailed in a rousing battle with the reigning GOHA champion Whales. Every Wolf contributed to this 5-4 OT victory which featured a late comeback from a two goal deficit - the tying goal scored in a brilliant rush by Flash Emor.
A tension filled shootout followed, with Vivienne Coppola stopping all 5 Whale shots. The wild overtime period ensued until Bedtime Bobbysocks took an outlet pass from Sacha Pangea, faked out the Lion and slipped the winning goal into the net.
Outstanding defense led by Boston Beeks, solid goaltending by Charis Straaf and Coppola, and two goals by Sarafina Raymaker kept the Wolves in the game until the final push.
All-in-all an amazing start to Season 8!
