 The dog days are here in RL and it's nice to escape into the (air conditioned) cartoon world of SL and play a little hock-ayyy! We're winding down the last few games of regular season. I will then be scheduling playoffs. We're still discussing the schedule and plan for playoffs; the captains have agreed they would like to move it along and we will finalize plans this weekend for dates and times.
We've been using a script with some exciting checking changes at the scrimmage games and people are loving it. If you've missed this, please stop by at 5pm and check it out. The newer version is allowing for easier checking which is leading to faster and more exciting game play. One thing people are always asking is how do we even things out more for people with slower systems. It is true that defense and goal are at a disadvantage due to Second Life's collision issues but we are working hard on finding tricks to improve it and this particular change is making for an improvement in itself alone. We'll be looking at more in-between seasons.
Please keep in mind that change is good! I hear some grumblings with new sticks..but remember..if we don't address issues and provide possible solutions, nothing will ever change!
IMPORTANT! Please check your notices for an important note-card. I have sent out an intention request card asking who intends to play Season 6, and in what capacity (competitive division or casual play). Retired and Inactive members should especially take note. If you are planning to come back please send me your response in-game so we can get your name entered into the draft. We're also basing our plan for draft and # of teams on this, so if you don't reply, it will affect those decisions! Thanks guys.

I want to congratulate my team on an awesome regular season so far.The Moose have played as a team from game 1 and have continued to get better with each and every gamed played.The Moose success has been because of not just one factor but of many and the order of significance:
Team Work,Dedication,Attendance, and Skill
As a team we have only one goal in mind and that is winning the Linden Cup,but I am very proud of this team for winning the regular season title.Everyone on the Moose has earned and deserves this accomplishment.
